I would agree. I mean dont get me wrong, I went to the WC at Wrigley, its a great expereince and i'd recommend going, but the UC just has an unreal atmosphere.
If I dont sign with the team in Canada im supposed to play for, ill be going to the outdoor college games at solider field in febuary. |

I don't know, football stadiums can get really loud. I went to Kinnick stadium in '06 when Ohio State was in town to play Iowa. It got really loud sitting at the first row and that's only 70k people, so I can't imagine what 115k would sound like. But I do agree with demonic that the seating sucks compared to an arena and with Drizzy about the sound escaping. We'll see.

As one that has gone to penn state the past 4 years I can say the 107k seats/fans are much louder then the td garden. And the the garden gets hopping. A Philly/Pitt game would rock the place and really am surprised they haven't done it yet. The big house and beaver stadium are the most intimidating fields to walk onto when filled.

As much as I hate Ohio State, I think a game at The Horseshoe would be nuts.

Can the WC still happen if there's a lockout? That would be such a huge cluster**** for the NHL. You know how much money that entire weekend is going to bring the league with merchandise, tickets, food, jerseys, and souvenirs not only from the Big House, but all the **** that's going on at Comerica as well.
Holy **** there'd be a rebellion.

I read that if the NHL locks out, the WC doesn't happen and the NHL only owes a small amount of the rental fee.
