I love Stammer, but was someone really trying to say he was better than Crosby? Not a chance.

I wish Stammer was better than Crosby. I don't like Crosby too much, but I have immense respect for the Stamkos.

This just baffles me...

First of all, they haven't even gone on sale yet according to the official site.
http://redwings.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=81532

Second of all, how can places like this have them on sale?
http://www.vividseats.com/sports/win...1-1260012.html

Third of all, how can you say that you're sure they're sold out? That honestly wouldn't be fair to the general public that don't have some special connection to season ticket holders, or enter the contests in the hope that they might get a ticket.

There's 115,000 seats. Do you know how many that it? I'm sure officially the centerfield Rows 1-10 ones they sold to season ticket holders and such are gone, but there's no way that sites like stubhub and ticketmaster are just going to be saying "Sorry, no more left..."

When I bought mine, the best available tickets were the Greens in the corners, and I got mine in the first pre-sale. That leads me to believe that after all the other pre-sales, there will be little left for the general public.

Vivid Seats. It has all sorts of tickets for sale. Not saying it's legit or anything, but it's just one I found.

I understand the winter classic being appealing but I'd rather pay 100 bones to actually be able to see a game and not freeze my testees off.

It's my favorite sports team taking part in the biggest, most historical outdoor hockey event to date. No other game or Winter Classic will bring this many fans and people into the event. The fact that it's at the Big House is just a bonus for me. 115,000 people for a hockey game.

Not to mention the 2 alumni games that are going on have some major ****ing stars (and coaches) coming back to participate. Hell Vladdy is even participating in the event in some way, along with 3 others of the Russian 5.

I will gladly drop $300-400 on a decent ticket to be able to experience something like this. It's going to be insane.

I'm sure that with some temporary seating added, a Flyers/Pens WC in Happy Valley could rival this Winter Classic. It'd be perfect, an outdoor hockey game with 100, 000+ fans at a location almost literally in the middle of the 2 cities.

I just can't even imagine the atmosphere that 115,000 hockey fans would make. It's going to be intense.

I fully expect several Green Street Hooligans type brawls. Anything less will be a disappointment.

I actually kind of agree with him on this one. Over half of the people in the stadium won't even be able to see what the ****'s going on. I don't think it'll be as loud as everyone thinks.

Of course not. The benefit of an arena is the roof and all the sound reflectors making the building loud. At a stadium all the sound escapes.
