If the Preds do match though, can't he still decide where he wants to go? Much better chances of winning with Philly.

um what? He's an RFA and philly has been trying to trade for him. They got sick of trashville yanking their dick so they OS'd weber and he signed it. They even structured the OS in a way so it pays out the *** right away so if the preds match they'll be paying a ton to weber immediately so they'll be reluctant to trade him next year. Seems to me he definitely wants out, suter leaving could have a lot to do with it.
