Alien. Alien is a really good company. Some people doubt it because Alien isn't a "mainstream" company like Dye or Empire.

But if you were looking to get a used marker, get a Vice from Bob Long. I recommend Alien over BL's newest markers.

Bob long for sure. bob has been in the buisness longer than alien (fact check ?)

ive shot aliens before, i didnt really fall in love with them.
every bob long ive shot has been money, marq6-victory ripper, various intimidators including the vice

my suggestions is to find a used marq rapper or marq 7 with a supercharged engine and 4c eyes. that way it will last in the woods, through big games, and youll be able to keep up on the amateur speedball field AT LEAST till d2 (if u plan on making it that far)

If you're asking for a comparison of the companies themselves, then BLAST by a landslide. BL has very good customer service and has been pretty stable in the market for a long time.

If you are comparing specific guns, then which 2 are you comparing? I don't have any experience with alien guns, but the vice and G6R are 2 amazing markers. Parts availability and overall performance will make them very hard to beat.

More specific, used a G6R last weekend, the gun shot amazing, the balance was great. Trigger was superb, the marker did have a pillow bolt, quiet as hell. Haven't shot an Alien, but heard they are pretty decent marker as well. Just looking for some advice from fellow ballers. Looking for a marker for speedball, not interested in woodsball at all. Thanks for the input so far guys.

Alien guns are nice. Jack is very good with his CS and does everything he can for his customers. Downside is that Jack is just about the only CS available. Not many shops deal Alien. The guns are smooth, efficient, and reliable and have the option of on OLED board.

Bob Long guns are legends and, like pointed out earlier, been around much longer than Alien. BL are smooth, reliable, and efficient. They also have Blast for CS, which is top notch. You are also more likely to find a shop that knows how to tech a BL gun since they have been around for so long.

They G6R and Indy have their pros and cons. The indy trigger is much better stock as it is a Critical trigger.

As for the Invasion from Alien, I have no experience with those.

My last G6R shot great with the LP poppit and pillow bolt, but was only a hair smoother than my well tuned Indy. It was a bit more quiet as well.

The Indy is more reliable overall and easier to maintain. However the G6R should be as reliable as anything else if you take care of it.

The fit and finish is better on the G6R.

If I ever get any more poppet guns, I will get both another Indy and G6R.
