Junior in high school, 17 I believe. Back in 1993. Played and got hooked - played almost every weekend for several years. Fortunately in college NU had a team and we were sponsored so paint cost was not an issue. I got away from it after a while...

I just started playing last year.
I was 14, (15 now) so I couldn't afford to go every weekend and still can't (paint and admission costs).
Played with rentals first few times, got hooked, got my own set up (sig) with almost ALL the money I had, and now I do a few small jobs around the neighbourhood and play usually once a month.
Oh wait. I forgot no one gives a ****.

Well to the guy above me, I to started at 14. I'm now 20. I played with my buddies tippman while I mowed lawns and played every couple of weeks when I could afford it. I saved up for an ion when they first came out. Eventually as I got more regular jobs, I now get to play far more often and I have a PE etek. Young players like you are the lifeblood of our sport. Keep it up man. Its fun. And exciting to earn enough for your next gun, and play more often. Keep it up. Invite your freinds and make the game grow!

I started playing right before World Cup last year. Rented a few times, went thorough the "I want to look like COD Milsim" phase (thank GOD I didn't have money to spend on gear at that point), and then World Cup rolled around and I fell in love with speedball after trying out a friend's 2011 Rail. Bought myself an Axe, never looked back.

13 years ago good lord! I played my first game on my 10th birthday, my brother bought me a stingray 2 with a mask. I remember shooting a whole box of 12 gram co2 cartridges and a whopping 200 paintballs.

7 years ago (2003) I got my first marker and went out for the first time. I've been playing speedball since. I used to play CFPS and World Cup (D4) and now I play MSTS and MSSD (Alaskan local tournaments).

4 years ago, i was seventeen and didnt have anything better to spend my paychecks ( if you could even call them that) on, now im 21 and i spend my millitary deployment money on it, ha ha still nothing better to spend on...

11 Years ago. Was in 5th grade. I graduated High School in 2010.

I remember it clear as day, my buddy bought a brass eagle maurader. After school we walked to his place, and shot up a basketball in his backyard. About a month later, my dad bought me a spyder xtra players kit, and we played in a small patch of desert in what at the time was outskirts of north las vegas.

Remember my first time getting shot and my first shot on someone else. Seriously, looking back, those games were so perfect. When I die, I expect heaven to be a place where I play recball with all my friends, then go home; a block away for pizza.
