I was the ripe ol' age of 11 when I first played. I'd been hooked on paintball even before I played, thumbing through the pages of Rick Sapp's "Paintball Digest" and drooling over the $1,400 Angels and mocking the crappy Brass Eagles. I convinced my parents to let me try it, on the condition that I'd buy my own gear. I worked all year, and finally in 2007 I bought my Viewloader Triton II! I loved that thing to death, and I still do. Sitting in my gearbag in front of the door, ready to go play another game tomorrow, as a matter of fact!
Now, at 17, I look back and reflect. It's been a wild 6 years and I've loved every minute of it. From an AutoCocker that refused to work to the Superstock I built from the ground up, it's been quite a ride.

My brother bought a pgp pump pistol when he was 16, I was 14, and he decided he wanted to start playing. Not to be outcome I bought a brass eagle tiger shark at the local walmart. Then he bought a spider, I bought a tippman 68 carbons and we played a ton more. Eventually we moved on to automags, snickers, angels, egos. He finally trumped me last year when he bought an indoor field, a tip of my hat to you sir. But we are going on eighteen years of paintball and I love it more today than ever.

I was 14 the first time I played. Bunch of buddies and I all went out and bought brand new Sheridan P-68SC's; we had talked about starting to play paintball all throughout grade school.
Ahhh, those were the days! Still have that gun, too.

I think i was around 11 or something. It was for a friends birthday. I didnt get hooked then. It wasn't until April of 2011 when I REALLY started wanting to play. I already had a Spyder MR1 and after awhile got an Axe and have gotten stuff from there. All within a year man. Jesus.

My first game was when I was 18 when I played with the Brothers of Triangle Fraternity (A Fraternity of Engineers, Architects and Scientists). They were looking to recruit (I joined two years later) and I wanted to play the game to see what it was like … that was 21 years ago now. Been playing ever sense.

I was probably around 12-13. I had an older cousin that had a gun and after I tried it I got my own and got really into it. Unfortunately, at the end of highschool and then through college it was too expensive so I took a break and just got back into it this year.

I was 13. A friend of mine got me into it and convinced me to give it a try. Before I even stepped on the field I bought two guns, one of which broke. But once I played, I was hooked instantly, and the weird part is that I never played with the friend who got me into it.

15. Came out for the first time, got fixed, then realized how much it was taking out of my account. I play less now, but I still love the sport. Never had an electro-pneumatic, but learned to manipulate the mech-marker. Message to those just starting: you don't need the best gear to be the best. It's all about being confident in what your doing, and playing the game fairly and honestly. It is a really fun sport, but if you just want to do it to cause pain to someone else, this is not for you.

Well, lets see if I can figure this out.
I first played paintball in June of 1988, 24 years + 1 month ago.
I'm 53 now. So I was 29 years old when I first played.
For the record, paintball did not exist until I was 24 years old.
