battlefield, call of duty, and all the other games with massive and dedicated fanbases will not cease to charge $60. there are plenty of 12 year olds who are more than willing to coerce their parents into shelling out for the newest copy of the same game.

My parents stopped paying for my **** when I was 13. I would really like for the prices to get lowered.

regardless. You're only 13, your opinion doesn't matter. Game companies will still charge $60 as long as people are paying for them. When you look at how copies were sold of the games that promag listed, those companies would be stupid to lower their prices.

Sure, lower prices might mean more sales. But 1 billion $1 sales =/= a quarter billion $60 sales. No, those aren't real numbers, just an exaggerated explanation.

I said when I was 13. I'm 16 now so it kind of matters.

Don't really give a ****. Going to a movie with my girlfriend costs $30-50 and lasts two hours tops. A night out at the bar is $30 minimum. I can pay $60 for a game and (usually) get way more than a few hours of entertainment out of it.

If you go to something like an RPX theater you are gonna pay about $30 just for tickets. That plus soda, candy, popcorn and you can be pushing $50 pretty quick.

Lol at n00bs who buy candy and pop at the movie theater. Everyone knows you buy both at the gas station next door and put it in your ho's purse to carry in.

Pay $8-10 a piece for tickets and boom, $25-30 MAX night out for the movies. (This is in Ohio and Michigan - **** other states where tickets are like $12-16...)

Everything within this post makes sense.

Plus, I'm pretty selective with my gaming purchases and I actually buy quite a bit. My purchases are based on if I actually want to play the game. The amount of games I buy will not be related at all to the prices. Lowering the price on ****ty IPs or rehashed garbage will not make me think, "Hmm... maybe I'll just buy it because it's only $30-$50."

I'm content where the prices are at. If they lower them, whatever. It won't sway me to **** titles.

I got the Fantastic Four game for free when I bought... I forget what. The ****ing thing is still in its packaging.

Real men wait 2 months after the movie comes out, and see it at the $1 theater. There is, or was, a theater I used to go to all the time when I lived in Columbus. $1 for a ticket, sneak in candy with me. Best times ever.

I live in Texas now, and my town has the crummiest, tiniest pile of a theater. Tickets are only $5 though. I generally see new movies here, and if I really like them, I'll shell out more money to see it at a larger theater later in its run. Nothing worse than paying $12 for a ticket, and the theater is filled with howling baboons.
