Favorite Camo?
[prologue] I love SpecOps, but am a bit irritated at them. I ordered two items that were suposedly "SpecOps Digi Camo"; unfortunately I found that although they appeared the same in the picture, and had the same type of labled camo, in reality the camo differed a bit in color. One was brighter than the other making what should have been a perfect set look like two different types of digital camo. [/prologue]
What's your guys' favorite type of camo for wooded play? I'm trying to decide if I want to invest in a new set to make it match better or just replace one peice.

US Army Woodland camo---- WINTER WEIGHT PANTS over heavy denim jeans will allow you to wade through raspberry patches and other thorny stuff without too much person harm.
Summer weight top OR
http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st..._SearchResults
You can get them on sale $50 AFTER hunting season. Top and Bottom and it is on NETTING so it is COOL. Has a Hood in the top...
It is a NEAR Ghillie but most fields let you play with the Break Rule.

it depends on the woods field. if the field is darker, more shaded, then i would go with the standard woodland camo. if the field is lighter and brighter, not as shaded, then i would probably go with some realtree style

US Army ACU :]
Every now and then I use my US Army Woodland set.
But of all camo's I really like Urban, Urban Digital, Desert Digi, and German Flecktarn.

I like the look of the ACUs but most of the time around here it doesn't blend with the environment as well as woodland does. Multicam is pretty sweet too

unless you're attempting to make a fashion statement, seems the rational camo to choose is the one that best matches the terrain you frequent the most, not the one everybody likes. it's the whole idea of wearing camo attire in the first place.
you could just use the mismatched camo you have providing it matches the terrain you use. take my word for it, no one else but the posers will care. if you wore jeans and a white t-shirt and took out all of the opposing team, most players would wonder where you acquired the mad skills, not where you acquired your attire.
i do understand why you're a bit irritated at specops. i would make a formal complaint of the deceptively portrayed products you received. i would also refuse to pay return shipping if they offered a refund. tell them you mentioned this to others on PbN and see what they say.

I like Rhodisian (old school pattern). Depending on the colors, it works for any season.

Ghuillie
I use a ghuillie suit from www.bushrag.com combination of jute (burlap fiber) and synthetic mesh leaves. they are slightly transparent meaning background color can slightly be seen through the edges of the suit. in lame mans terms, it works!

I think that your camo choice all depends on your field that you are playing on

that's why multicam just got the contract to make the fabric for the new Army Combat uniforms. Hopefully they put out a nice %100 cotten rip-stop instead of that heavy 60/50 blend they've been making. There is nothing like an old %100 cotten BDU jacket and pants to keep you cool in a game. Unfortunetly the only camo I can find in it is the old school stuff. I guess that's ok as I'm about to say that you really can't go wrong with the older stuff. Woodland still works great in the woods, and 3 color desert still works great in the sand. I'm starting to warm up to jungle and desert tiger stripe to!
