I'm so glad the Rangers didn't overpay for Greinke.

LOL, the Dodgers may set the opening day payroll record. They have four players slated to make 20 million or more next year

Needless to say Royals fans up here are furious. lol, I think it was a decent trade. Yeah they probably gave up a little much for shields and davis, but they need pitching more than anything, I think they might win 75ish games this year

Well Dickey is now the best available pitcher left on the market.

All your top prospects are belong to us.

Lol -___-

If you're talking to me I know for a fact they're not giving up Profar or Andrus, so they'll probably bundle up Olt and Perez/Martin/idontevenknowwhatsreallifeanymore

It seems to me that Dickey might just stay in NY. For this year at least

I wouldn't like it if I was a Royals fan. Meyer is going to be a beast. Shields isn't even a number one. And even if he was, it still isn't worth Meyer. Price, probably. Shields? Nope.

I wouldn't be opposed to keeping Dickey but I want a ML ready top outfield prospect more.

Not really. He's a good number 2. A number 1 on a not so good staff (like the Royals).

He's not an ace. They paid ace price for him.

Isn't RA Dickey almost 40 years old?

I would rather see the Rangers stay put and find someone at the trade deadline rather than try to trade our prospects.

He's 38 but he's a knuckleballer. He could easily be an effective pitcher for five years. Being a knuckleballer, it could all go to **** next season.

If he pitches like last season, his trade value will never be higher than the 2013 deadline. A team will need a other pitcher (I'm voting the Angels) and be willing to deal.

I wouldn't be opposed to keeping him half a season. I just don't care about moving him now since its not like the Mets have any shot at being a contender.

That's why they need to move him. Get something while they can
