Needless to say Royals fans up here are furious. lol, I think it was a decent trade. Yeah they probably gave up a little much for shields and davis, but they need pitching more than anything, I think they might win 75ish games this year

I wouldn't like it if I was a Royals fan. Meyer is going to be a beast. Shields isn't even a number one. And even if he was, it still isn't worth Meyer. Price, probably. Shields? Nope.

I wouldn't be opposed to keeping Dickey but I want a ML ready top outfield prospect more.

Isn't RA Dickey almost 40 years old?

I would rather see the Rangers stay put and find someone at the trade deadline rather than try to trade our prospects.

He's 38 but he's a knuckleballer. He could easily be an effective pitcher for five years. Being a knuckleballer, it could all go to **** next season.

If he pitches like last season, his trade value will never be higher than the 2013 deadline. A team will need a other pitcher (I'm voting the Angels) and be willing to deal.
