Nationals are so terrible right now. Whoever gets to play them in the playoffs should have an easy win.

Chipper is a legend having the greatest final year you can ask for. Braves clinched a berth behind him and Freddy. The Braves don't have the team to win the world series, but they might get past the NLDS. They are playing better ball than the Nats right now. This is the best way Chipper can go out. Thing is, if Bobby was still in the dugout the Braves would be closer to a division clinch than a WC clinch. Bobby should have been there this year.

But my goodness, Medlen is more God than man right now. He hasn't lost a game in coming up on three years, and that includes him being sidelined an entire season with Tommy John surgery. Braves just won their 22nd straight game behind him, an all time major league record. He gave up three runs tonight, the most hes given up all season(outstanding, isn't it) but they were from two pitches. A rookie, who has never hit a homer in his career, took Medlen deep twice and accounted for all 3 Florida runs.

How many of those games did he start?

Braves are 22 wins, no losses on his last 22 starts.

HR: McLouth (6, 1st inning off Villanueva, 0 on, 0 out), Thome (8, 5th inning off Villanueva, 0 on, 0 out), Machado 2 (6, 5th inning off Villanueva, 0 on, 2 out; 8th inning off Carpenter, D, 1 on, 1 out), Davis, C 2 (28, 5th inning off Villanueva, 2 on, 2 out; 7th inning off Beck, 1 on, 0 out), Reynolds, Ma (23, 6th inning off Carreno, 1 on, 1 out).

Hopefully this will kickstart the offense which has had a few struggles in the last week.

Not really. Top is 24. Harper is excellent, just needs to learn when to STFU. He botched another play today.

I like Atlanta's chances against Washington right now. Atlanta has a better rotation, and a real closer who is as close to untouchable as you can get. He struck out 4(yes FOUR) batters in the 9th tonight to close it out.

Chipper is being Chipper, Heyward is riding some momentum, Freeman is swinging with confidence, Prado is hitting everything when he has 2 strikes against him, Ross is the best back up back stop in baseball and Bourn is too fast for his own good.

Only weak spots are Uggla, who is doing okay right now and shortstop. Medlen is unbeatable, Hudson is back in Ace status, the other 3 are on the up. Hanson can be shaky, he might be a problem. Hopefully he won't have to start a game this post season.

**** 20 wins is nothin... Talk to me when he goes 24-5 like Verlander did last year.

Granted Verlander is having a solid year this year too, but it's not acceptable by my standards for him, lol.

Tigers won 95 games last year. Mets will be lucky to win 75.

Rangers are up 5-0. I like.

Well, Reddick just hit a homer so now it's 5-1. I still like. I think if we win today we clinch the division.
