Which teams could use another starter? Someone trade Arizona something for Joe Saunders please, so we can keep Skaggs in the rotation.

Colin McHugh pitched like a bau5. The rest of the Mets played like, well, the rest of the Mets.

Anyway......the big outrage in Boston media has been that only 4 red sox players attended Pesky's funeral...but they had a 100% turnout at the party beckett threw later that night.

I was listening to WEEI on my way home today, and the guys hosting the show were criticizing the players for not attending the funeral....and in classic ******* new england fashion, the ****ing callers managed to go from defending the players to hating on and discrediting Derek Jeter. Somehow, some way, the most classless fans in sports managed to amaze me with how much they envy the Yankees and remain the laughing stock of the sports world. What an oblivious bunch....I've issued a boycott at my work. No more red sox games on the tv, customer requests are also denied. The pink hats will learn what it feels like to have your team truly suck and not know what 2004-2007 feels like...****ing bandwagon ******s.

That Crawford contract was a joke. Almost as bad as the Kolb contract for the Cardinals.

i never understood how people can hate on Jeter. Like yeah I get it he's the captain of your rivals, but he's maybe the least offensive person in baseball.

Dodgers claim Beckett and Adrian Gonzalez off of waivers. Apparently there is talk of a deal that would send Beckett, A-Gone, Crawford, and Punto do the Dodgers.

Ken Rosenthal is reporting that it's very close to being done. Only money and Beckett's 10/5 rights are what is going to get in the way.

Oh good, Mark Grace arrested for second DUI in 15 months, on indefinite leave. Now both their TV announcers are gone.

And Justin Upton may be on waivers, and may be traded soon. CBSsports said he was already claimed, but I doubt that.

Adrian Gonzalez should be enough of a help to LA alone. Plus maybe a change of scenery will help Beckett feast on the worst hitting division in baseball.

Upton is on waivers. Someone put in a claim on him. Nothing more at this time

Nats just got swept by the Phillies. Bats are ice cold. Making stupid mental errors. I'm guessing this is right about where they collapse

Biggest problem is our offense is stagnant. Surprisingly our pitching has been pretty decent this year. Kuroda has outperformed my expectations.

Its rough at times.... hopefully the Lions can make things interesting if the Tigers end up failing.

In the end, we have a possible great season of Michigan Football coming up
