Very high BABIP and he doesn't get it from infield hits. He's a low ball hitter in a lineup filled with power hitters. So basically, every pitcher he faces is trying to keep the ball down. Once pitchers and scouts get an off-season to
Llook at this, they'll adjust.

Don't get me wrong, he'll still be a .300 hitter and MVP candidate, but he will struggle to duplicate this season next year.

King Felix was dominant yesterday. 1.13 ERA career at New Yankee Stadium. I'm glad he's not in our division.

Everyone in this thread knows about the posting system with NPB. Everyone in this thread is also aware of the fact that the Rangers paid a posting fee of $51M, not $20M. That is where the debate comes in, whether or not Darvish is worth a total investment of well over $100M to put him in a Texas uniform. You're the one who doesn't know what he's talking about, but it's cute that you felt the need to try to call me out.

Unrelated, Tejada extended his hitting streak tonight. This kid has been more than the Mets could have ever hoped for.

Ok well I was not completely aware of the exact amount they forked up I just knew it was A LOT and that they had to put in a bid. I only got upset because you decided to call me out. so I suppose you can say we are both in the wrong.

And yes Felix was absolutely filthy in NY.

If you bothered to read you would see the darvish talk was dealing directly with the posting fee. Goat is arguing that money should be considered when talking about how much he costs versus comparable pitchers. I am arguing it shouldnt because the money spent on posting wouldnt have necessarily found its way into the payroll if they hadnt posted.

Ya savvy?

Which one is better?

Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
A = Trout; B = McCutcheon

Or, Miguel Cabrera at .325/.387/.579 with 27 homers including last night's walk-off against the Indians in the bottom of a 5 run, come from behind, 10th inning.

Lulz .... just because he isn't as God awful as we all thought does not make him good. His defense is still woefully below league average. It's just that his bat makes up for it.

And King Felix just two-hit shutout them. Immediately less impressive.

http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index...ble-and-notes/

Did I show you guys this? Fangraphs ranked all the teams' radio broadcasters.

Can't really complain about Washington's rating. Dave Jaegler and Charlie Slowes are legit. When MLB.TV offers the Nats as the free game, I'll mute my TV and play the radio stream simply because it's better play by play.

If I do it via normal radio, the radio is about 15 seconds ahead
