how do I find local tournaments?
How do my friends and I find and enter local tournaments? Were beginners and want to get some tourney exper...... Suggestions?

check out Capital Edge's website, i believe they have a tournament this weekend.
3 man beginners will be playing on saturday
5 man rookie raceto-2 will be on sunday
you should check em out and see what your in for, they also have scrim days before the event so you can get a look at what your up against.

Maloneoni is correct. The CEPL will be ranked under APPA, while the SCP and Midway games are more like scrim events that are run like tournaments, but anyone regardless of rank can join. The SCP scrims days are race-3 with prelims matches only (4 matches per team) The Midway events are both 7 man and race-2 with them going all the way to the finals.

Where are you located? Around the central
valley there are quite a few local fields that hold tournaments that are non APPA, we hold them a few times a month, maximum paintball in Fresno does the same, we try to work it so our events don't conflict with theirs. |

If ur around sac area capital edge is one of vt he best feilda in northern cali and they got the cepl or u can go to midway and do scrim wars

Might be a good idea to link up with some local teams to see if you can work in with them... or see if they can point you towards a beginner team that'll take you and/or help you hone your skills.  |
