I will be getting PSP Ref certified on Friday and was wondering how they go about picking ref's at events such as New Jersey and World Cup? Also, how much does it pay?

Well if you are already certified by now, I'm sure Tim or whomever told you the pay. That is not something to discuss for the public to see. When going about to get refs for reffing the events, that boils down to talking with Tim and then if he has an open spot for you. Most of the time the spots go to people he has had ref the events in the past, but if they can't make it, the new guys are reached out to.

Also, you need an iPhone, we like to throw iPhone parties! ;] Just kidding. Haha. Although quite a few of us have iPhones.One more thing to add, Tim also really only takes people for reffing that he knows will perform well, making calls and following through completely and not letting the crowd, however much they yell something is a penalty, get in your head.

Yes, the PSP only pays for reffing none of the hotels, airfares, and other expenses are paid for.
