Got go to TAD to combatives lvl 2 at ft. belvior. I'm not even in the army, but I thought it was a good course. Learned a good bit about jiu-jitsu, but could I do any of it in a full combat load? Nope. Haha.

army combatives is pretty much a course of what not to do in a real world situation.
if you are disarmed, your enemy is disarmed, and you sit down and each sign with a lawyers consent to a written, legally binding document stating you will fight fair and gentleman-like, it might be applicable.
only good thing about it is getting punched in the face, lots of people have never been hit before and you don't want your first time to be when it matters.

We were straight up doing fists to the face and body earlier today. I thought that was pretty legit. Especially when we got to start standing and do take downs.
But I do agree. It seems like the more legit training is in levels 3 and 4. It also seems like it's geared towards competition as opposed to real life combat situations.

any and all training i recieved in the army was promptly thrown out the window when i started working under a black belt in judo, a purple belt in bjj, and one of the best kick boxers in the under 21 in this province

World War Z. The DMS scenario game last weekend out at Kiowa Creek East of Denver. It was a good time and the field was actually pretty good.
They had 1 street town of 8 buildings (4 on each side), some decent woods, and they atually had bunkers and trenches in the open areas (looked like they used a back-ho. Def wasn't a shooting war bunker but for a PB bunker it wasn't that bad. ). They only had a 100 player turn out (the spring game they had just over 200) but they had two PB tanks and I had a good time.
I'll have to go back for teh spring scenario game next year. You should check out DMS scenario or Kiowa creek paintball on FB. Def better than Blitz and Dragonman's

I've got a pump if ya want to play, I used to go to All stars but their management is ****. I bought a bag of 500 rounds from them a year ago and every time I go they accuse me of bringing my own paint in, refs are douche bags and they don't bother to clean the lights so its dark as **** inside. QQ.
Down to get hammered before I leave this place for good though.
