The way it goes, my pipeline has me doing Language now, then SUT, then MOS, then Sage. If I made it all the way to the end of language and failed my exit exam, I'd be recycled back about 2 months for extra help. Then if you failed again, if you're not a **** bag, they said they've given people other languages to help them along.

It's not hard to pass the OPI with a 1/1. Now, to get a 2/2... way harder.

edit: No, I'm way better than Josh at Arabic. He's a tard.

hmm, good to know. Now, what is 1/1 and 2/2? Now, as far as language goes, are they expecting you to be on part with a linguist? I know AF linguists go through like 2-3 years of school if they get arabic...I can't imagine they expect you to be on par with them.

Also, enlighten me on SUT, sage, MOS please

The OPI is the Oral Proficiency Interview. It's conducted like a phone conversation. It's graded on listening and speaking hence the #/# scale. You need a 1/1 to move on. Some people get 1+'s but all you need is 1/1. No, they're expecting you to be a little above pointy talky. Basically just talking about yourself to conduct introductions and meetings and be able to convey a few thought processes. Also when we help train our indig's, it helps. Like knowing how to say "Shoot that way" versus just saying the word "Shoot." So no, a 2/2 isn't even a linguist.

Have you researched any of this? There's a lot of good information on the course that's Unclassified to read. This Site is a good Overview.

Yea, Josh seems like a tard. I'm sure if he fails any portion of training he will use his wife in some capacity to move on. I mean, all he is concerned with in life is paintball and showing her off.
