07 PMR noid gasket leak fix
I have 2 07 PMRs,both have had frustrating leaks with the noid/body gasket using a stock and TechT bolt, this was my solution to the problem,Im not an airsmith but have modded/teched Cockers,Mags,Ion in the past.TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!This solved the problem for me,interested in feedback
After replacing ALL orings on both bolts and noid gasket I first tried an RTV silicon gasket goo used for cars,it seemed to help bit a but still leeked,so i tried Indian head gasket goo which solved the problem!first i applied a thin layer with a small paintbrush to the body and the top of the gasket making sure not to coat the holes and used toothpicks to index the gasket holes, next I applied the the bottom of gasket and top of noid and pressed firlmly using the screws to index the gasket and tightened them down.I waited a day to air up then did a leakdown test with bubble solution.I've shot several cases of paint thru them and the problem seems to be fixed!if i need to removed it I can use a little alcohal.Any feedback would be helpful

haha thank you so much for directing me to this. the air leak/venting has been bothering me for a while.
Does anyone know why the pmr gasket likes to not seal properly?

hey i just wanted to say, that before i read this i spent about 3 hours taking apart my pmr and putting it back togethe r. finally i took up your advice, went to autozone and got that indian gasket goo, then went to lowes and got thread sealer tape. and did exactly what you said with the indian goo then i taped up the frame screws and that one random screw below the body . And boom no more gasket leak. I was so stoked that i came on here and registered an account just to say...thanks bro

Hmm I'll have to try this. Got an old 07PMR that's been laying around for 2 years now because I couldn't solve that leak.

can also try using a bit of dow55 on the gasket to make it swell a tiny bit for a better seal. My 07 hasnt leaked yet but it would be the first thing I would try if it did(after trying a new one of course)
I do like the idea in the OP, seems like a solid solution to that issue.

seriosuly man, that indian gasket goo and sealer tape, youll be solid. just make sure the gasket is in good condition, and put a bit of the goo on the top of the solenoid that rests on the body, and literally tape every screw up.
