There's a very good chance that it is an EGO13. But at the same time, they can hide many things within an un-milled body. You can't see the bolt, internals of the regulator, any internals parts, or anything for the most part. You can really only see the marker itself and listen to the sound signature.
Honestly had some trouble deciphering your... comment? Using complete sentences and correct grammar/punctuation would really help me figure out what you're trying to say, too.

And you are right, but they didn't bring a "NEW" marker out in 2012 it would make sense to make the improvements in the line at some point and use the CSL frame which is easier to work on, and it would streamline inventory on PE's end.
I would assume that at some point that frame will make it onto the normal EGO, and if they include the dart and some different milling it would be some inprovements. It wouldn't be enough to get people with 11's to upgrade but it might get people that still have older egos or are new to the platform to pick one up.

It's typical in product design to cover a prototype to hide new components or design...

In order to keep commanding a $1250-1395 price, they have to make sure they are taking more than baby steps in models.
That's why there was no 12.
As many have said before, there will probably be no 13 either.
Dye has the DM13 sneaks out, but besides milling and color I'm sure that there are no technical upgrades to it.
The DAM is a great smoke screen for the DM13 not being more than a prettier DM12.
So I wouldn't want PE to stoop to their level.
I would rather them call it the same model, than to color and mill a EGO-S, and call it an EGO-13

I would think they could start selling EGOs with the dart kit standard, and at least call it EGO 11-S or something similar, so people know that they're just getting an 11 with the dart already in it.

This as well. Minus the artsy stuff (milling, gold, etc) most of the SL stuff turns out to the be next model year stuff. Not that the CSL had much more on the 11, but there are a few things that could transfer over, plus the dart kit, and maybe one more semi-major thing they had in the works.

They won't make the dart kit standard. Because some people don't like it for one and two, making it standard would make them lose 100bills per gun. they can just sell a ego11 for the standard price and ask 100 for the kit if u want it.

I doubt they would lose any significant amount of money. If they keep the cure 3 and/or 4 standard, then they will have the cost of manufacturing both the cures and the dart. If they drop the cures, then they drop some overhead. Same for the valve and pin.
And remember, $100 is what it RETAILS for. I would be surprised if stores pay $75 for this, and even then that is not all going to PE.
However I will say that if this is all they could come out with, then maybe they can't find any way to make the next ego significantly better. I would think in order for the next ego to be different than the 11, they would need to have the dart standard, and maybe a Zick 3, or a different noid, or a different lpr, or SOMETHING other than milling.

Had the same thinking. Releasing a new Ego with different milling and the Dart would not be a big change. It actually wouldn't be any change really.
But perhaps in that Unmilled gun that's precisely what they are testing; a new reg configuration, new Zick or something else

And with that greater spacing between the reg and the frame, this is more than just an unmilled 11, so there has to be more to it. New reg internals could most likely be fit into the existing reg bodies (either the HPR or LPR), so that can't be ruled out just because they look the same externally. However, I am wondering if that spacing could act like an expansion chamber after the LPR, allowing lower pressure.

I'm sure when they actually come out with a new EGO, it will have the following:
New milling
New colors
Dart kit
New Asa
New barrel
This way they can also keep selling aftermarket parts.
As said before, it is more efficient to use the Dart and the CSL frame in a new model, but I'm sure that they have an abundance of Cure bolts and ram parts for more EGO-s models.
My guess would be spring time release with a new model.
When everyone comes out with a new model at the same time it makes it a choice, A or B. not when nothing else is coming out, you can reasonably buy 2 different high ends in one year.

Not true. Planet has released markers at times when other companies weren't releasing anything major. You don't have to release gear with everyone or anyone else.
As for the new ASA and barrel, that I'd bet money is not happening. They JUST created the POPs and implemented the Shaft 4. There is no reason to change them.

What could they do with the ASA? The only issue with it would be with non-PE guns.
As for the barrel, they could do the CF tip as standard (without the gold weave).

If a new ego does come out im hoping for "Changes".
- Smaller/Flat torpedo (so it doesnt annoy me while im gripping the gun)
- Lower Feedneck and not offset (I know they offset it for ball bounce up n down in the feed tube but just an idea to lower it a little bit)
- Standard Dart kit (Of course)
- Sunk in screws (The frame screws)
- Different Milling is always nice but I like the simple milling yet elegant looking that the Ego11 has to it.
Its hard to improve on a great gun already but if they could fine tune an ego11 with all these little things it would be a perfect gun (for me) IMO.
