New Planet Eclipse Ego 13??? 9/2 UPDATE: Spacing Pic!!!

For refrence, here is a Ego 11 (from PE's site):
First things I notice (however this may be angle related):
-Looking at the bottom left of the trigger frame (behind the trigger on the frame, new frame looks like a smoother/softer inward curve
-No visible frame screw in new frame
-Trigger guard looks slightly different, new one looks slightly thicker at top, and slightly different mill
-Front of old frame looks like it curves toward the reg, while the new one looks like it goes straight up into the body, also looks like there is more room between the guard and the reg compared to old
-Body milling is slightly different

EDIT 8/2: SPACING DIFFERENCE
With the Ego 11, there is less than a reg's spacing between the reg and the trigger frame...
On this mystery gun... there is a little more than a reg's spacing between the reg and the trigger frame...
The biggest things I disliked about the ego 11 are...
- The torpedo jetting out the front. Can we PLEASE make this smaller or leave some body material covering it to make it a little more comfortable to hold? (Nit-picky I know...)
- the back frame to body screw. It's VERY obviously there to me when I switch hands. I say counter sink it.
EDIT: AND STOP CHANGING THE TRIGGERS TOPS!!! It SUCKS Having to buy another violent deuce trigger because you changed the top again.

Looking closer at the pic, there is a slight shadow behind the trigger guard, so the screws might be counter sunk now.
Maybe they think the original Shocker look is going to make a comeback

Saw this on Facebook, wondering what they have cooked up since they said they were not making a new ego until, they could make noticeable changes. All I notice so far is the cool new milling.. I'm guessing they will probably go with the externally adjustable bolt speed control like the Geo3, maybe Cure5 and improved zick? It's all speculation until PE releases the specs.

Well, since the Etek 4 was recently updated and brought it somewhere between the Ego 10 and 11, I think the changes they made to the Etek will be similar to the changes to the Ego. To go more in dept, since the Etek now has the Zick2, SL3, and Shaft 4... I'm guessing the next ego will have a new Zick, different reg, and changes to the barrel (CF tip? not gold weave like CSL, but just CF tip).
I don't think there will be a new Cure since the Etek wasn't upgraded, however coming out with their own version of the pooty mod wouldn't surprise me (Cure5 or Cure4+).
The SL's typically have features that come out with the next regular model... thus why I think they will come to be.
i hope your right but i think its still a little early. they haven't even released the geo 3 yet so i would think they would mainly be focusing on that. once the geo 3 hits the shelves im sure we can all start saving up for the next ego

You make good points, I think the two main changes will be the external bolt speed control adjuster similar to the one found on the Geo3 and the flush fitting frame on the CSL. Other then that only the boys at Eclipse and the few lucky testers will know. Also not a big deal, but Eclipse said they were moving away from the annual release so it will not be called the Ego12/13.
The 11's dropped 200 on ANS.. Don't hold your breath for a lower price.

Anyway can't wait to see what the next Ego has to bring even though I probably won't get one. I'm quite happy with my CSL. There would have to be a huge change to make me consider it.

To me it looks like the aluminum just wasn't finished before the anno was done. not polished not dust just bare aluminum anno'd
It could be PE just trying out new ideas. I wouldn't mind if the price of 11's dropped a bit though.
Didn't the price of the 11 just drop? Or was that just on anus gear?

Ya well the value of the US dollar continues to go down and inflation goes up so I wouldn't be surprised to see it increase. In all honesty anyone that wants a new Ego bad enough will pay an extra 100 to have the latest and greatest. It doesn't effect me much since I'm poor and still have my first only ego (06 Dark), that I've had for over 4 years. I'm still interested in how PE can improve the Ego platform since the 05. I wish they would bring back the days of true PL milling like my 06 Dark, the XSV's, Mantis, and Nexus. It's partially why I havent sold my 06 Dark for a newer Ego, so instead I've updated it with the Violent SL3, Violent Thumbwheel , Violent Scythe trigger, Cure3+, and Shaft4 boost kit with the Violent .681 back and 16 inch tip.
The more I look at it, the more I think I think it is shopped (or something, the body doesn't look right...), but why would the frame be shopped at a high level, for the body to just be covered without any effort?
