You will truly get the best of all that D-Day has to offer in the 238th
....trust me you will never forget your experience!!
Engineers! What is your Profession!?!
For those of you who do not know me, this is Col. Clampett.
I am the C.O. for the 238th Engineer Combat Battalion at
Oklahoma D-Day, Welcome to our unit and family of paintball
Players that are new to D-Day, this event is staged in honor
of Dewayne's Grandfather, Enos Armstrong, who was a 238th
Engineer. The challenges you will face as a player of 238th
Engineer Combat Battalion at Oklahoma D-Day are designed
to reflect those faced by the real Combat Engineers in June
of 1944. Omaha is the most difficult battlefield on the Allied
side, but anyone can do it with the support of this great unit.
As a 238th Engineer you must breach the obstacles on the
beach for the seaborne troops of the 1st ID under direct fire
from the bluffs, using your Bangalore Torpedoes (simulated)
and fighting to destroy the Large Sea Batteries overlooking
Omaha Beach! After the objective of taking the beach for points
has been done the 238th will hunt tanks, become the force
multiplier assisting other units to take objectives all over the
field, and much much more!
And thatís just Saturdayís big game, throughout the week we
also play mini games, speedball, and participate in other fun
paintball and camp activities. We have adopted a medieval/
Spartan theme, as well as some Engineer traditions that are
a part of the camp life and moral builders that makes this unit
more of an extended family, that will have you wanting to come
back year after year.
This unit is open to players of all ages and skill levels, individuals,
families and teams; everyone can find a place in the238th and
have the greatest paintball vacation ever!
