Off of Machine Paintball's Facebook Page:

"Vapor owners, we want to assure you that we are working very hard at getting the new loader finished as soon as we can but we want it to be right when it is released. We will be releasing updates on the progress of the loader soon..."

If you submit the registration and it brings you back to the main page, you're good. If it gives you an error message, that means "you done broked it"

My 679 barrel didnt fit my tip. So i emailed Machine to try get a replacement, They said that they were no longer doing the smaller barrels opting for the 693 instead.
Seemed strange but thought i would share. I dont know who needs 693 seems like a total waste.
I dont want the 693 so im stuck with a 679 that doesnt fit properly. I'm not that happy considering how much they are. They also wanted me to post the 679 back at my own cost.

I thought Machine was supposed to have good customer service. Thats twice i've dealt with them and i've not been impressed both times.

It's a shame the guns awesome.

I actually prefer to have the larger back for summer play. Paint swells a LOT here and in Cali (Huntington Beach). I can imagine that World Cup was a similar story.

Regardless, Why doesn't your 679 fit? Are you sure the threads aren't damaged? I'd take an oring pick and make sure they're not bent or forced in.

BTW, it's normal to have a company ask you to pay for shipping there, they'll pay for shipping back...What are they going to do? paypal you $20 to have it shipped to them? that's crazy talk xD They ship things OUT for free, because there's little to no cost for the business.

Yeah i guess you're right. Still seems a bit cheap since i've bought a gun and its not complete.

Anyway. I can live with that just an observation.

The barrel threads are ok. It looks like the 679 tapers in too much and the tip wont screw in any further. It also looks like it matches up on the inside but no the outside.

Didnt they start out with the bigger bores? The the change to smaller in the first place. You think the smaller bores where just to small?

They did change them......they replaced 693 and 697 with 679 and 681.

yeah i had the same problem too. I have the newer one with the flat tip bolt and the updated barrel sizes and my 689 doesn't fit the tip either. it seems that the machining was not finished near the rear of the barrel back threads. the barrel screws in about halfway then locks up.

Sure.

There are two ways to do it, one by removing the frame, one by loosening a few extra screws.

Frame On Method: First off, on both triggers, loosen the pre-travel screw (the one on top) so that it's level with the top of the trigger (so the screw isn't sticking into the marker at all). You can then loosen the two screws on either side of the trigger and swap the triggers. NOTE: When re-tightening the two screws on either side of the trigger, make sure they're tightened equally and that the trigger is centered in the frame (and therefore, not rubbing on the sides of the frame)

Frame Off Method: Open the right-side grips; remove battery, unplug eyes and solenoid. Then remove the frame (keep track of the two frame orings) and then loosen the two screws on either side of the trigger. Again, make sure the trigger is centered when you're tightening the screws equally. When re-assembling the frame/body, make sure the frame orings are in place and slightly lubed. also note that if you pinch an eye-wire, it'll cause a leak. Just be certain that everything is where it should be before you tighten the frame screws and you'll be fine.

You have to use a LP tank, it wont operate on anything but low pressure (450-550psi is optimal). You can buy a reg from most paintball sites, ebay, and most proshops that have decent stock.

Highly recommend ninja btw.

Nope, a low pressure tank reg is MANDATORY. If you don't use a low pressure tank, it'll cause the solenoid to safety vent...IE it'll be over pressurized and won't work
