I'm trying Slickoleum aka Slick Honey. Dow 33 never seems to last more than a few months before I get valve stick. This is in a MQ2 sniper where I barely shoot a bag of paint and play once a month at most.

My valve is from one of the last batches made. It looks polished already.

Slick honey is what I use. I occasionally get a little poppet stick if I don't use the gun for a while, but a couple dryfire shots has always done the trick for that. Lasts forever between cleanings, too, I kinda got in the habit of only re-lubing it whenever I got bored, and it's probably been about 6 months between the last couple cleanings.

It's probably easier to list the things I don't use Slick Honey on, actually, haven't really found an application where it doesn't work well (assuming that application needs grease and not oil). Might be because I have about half a pound of the stuff, though.

I use Dow 33 and it never fails to outlast my pilot seals But I also have a very highly polished mQ2, with very very little bore friction to begin with. I actually sanded down the poppet o-ring a little bit.

I stay away from slick honey due to its petroleum base, it tends to not play well with every type of seal while dow seems to be usable on everything.
