It's all your personal preference. I like have a micro drop or rail with my 50/45 stubby tank. I don't like the weight distributed too far under my gun.

..sad thing is you will not know until after you have tried different settings...

in my search for that perfect feel i went as far as a 2" down and 3" forward with several tanks ~~ a 45/45, a 68/45, a 70/45, a stubbie, a peanut..

good luck and my sugestion is borrow someone's marker with a drop forward and just see how it feels to you..

Drop forwards are not good for your form. Get a rail and ASA.

You know, I didn't believe that until I actually tried it a few years ago. I always liked ridiculously big drop forwards. Ever since I purchased my last rail, I don't think I'll ever go back. It helps me stabilize my arms more since my elbows aren't sticking out so bad.
