Get them out there and have them play! I'd say thats the best way to show someone how fun paintball is.

Exactly. Those of us with kids have a huge advantage.....Birthday parties.....My son is 11. A huge influence on him getting involved in paintball was a birthday party. now that he's into it, he is introducing his buddies to the sport. I am truly amazed at how young kids "network" these days.

Obviously, if I know them, I give them a whole set of gear so they don't have to rent crap. Cheaper the better if you really want to get them hooked. Of course I primarily play woodsball (with a little xball), so I don't know much about trying to get people into speedball.

With woodsball, the events can also be camping trips and afterparties, so I think it's almost too easy for woodsball.
