Replacing window on grips

What material is best for this? I have some grips that have the window thats cut out and id like to replace it with something...lexan or plexiglass? I was even thinking hot gluing a small piece of caron fiber under neath...lmk what u guys think

Do you still need to use it as a window? Carbon would be cool but it doesn't make much of a window. Otherwise I would just use acrylic. It's cheap and easy to work with.

No i dont really need it for a window and yeah i could use acrylic or some hard rubber or something. Not sure how itd be best to fix it n there hot glue or something

Acrylic cracks if you over tighten the screws. Use polycarbonate / lexan. Both very easy to work with

He's asking about a window, not the whole grip.

The key here is to get a good tight fit with the whole in the grips. I used clear acrylic for the OLED window I was cutting into the BL wrap around grips then secured it with clear vinyl laminate on the back side. But the window itself fit in very tight to begin with and the laminate was there more to keep the paint out than hold the window in place.
