Ok - we're taking a chance and running a one off event.

This isn't a series, there are no other events currently planned - more a test event to gauge peoples/teams interest levels.

We're holding a Race-to 4 event

When: September 1st (Saturday)
Where: Fox 4 Paintball
Who: D4 teams (allowed 2 D3 players)
Cost: $495 entry pre team plus $50 a case for Top quality tournament grade paint
Reffing: upTon 187 cRew
Limits: Limited to 10 teams

Each team will play 3 Prelim matches and the top 4 teams will make playoffs.

Prizes:
80% of all entry fees will be put into the prize pool. If we get 10 teams signed up it will be a total of $3,960 in the prize pool.
1st place = 55% ($2,178*) plus trophies
2nd place = 30% ($1,188*) plus trophies
3rd place = 15% ($594*) plus trophies
4th place = trophies

* assumes 10 teams in the event. If less teams attend there will be a reduced amount of funds in the overall prize pool.

I'll double check the rule book, but I believe you're allowed 2 D3 players. The rule book we're using for this event is the PSP rule book - you can find it at www.pspevents.com

2.2.2.4. Any number of Division 4 or lower players may appear on a Division 4 RaceTo-4
roster, plus
2.2.2.4.1. Up to two Division 3 players, or
2.2.2.4.2. Up to one Division 3 player and up to 1 Division 2 Player with a classification
rating no higher than 1476, provided the sum of the classification ratings of the top two
players on the roster is no higher than 1968.

Quick question, can we use our PSP id's or do we need to buy Foxball id's? Sorry if this was mentioned already, thank you.

There is no need to purchase ids. However, everyone should be on the roster and should bring some form of "official" id so we can validate.

Layout will be MAO (we used it this past weekend for our foXball event and don't have time to switch it over to something else).

Start time will most likely be 8AM - depends upon the final team count.

Check out hotels in Milford - there is a Fairfield Inn and a few other lower priced hotels.
