Got my SB in the mail this morning and oh man, am I glad to be back in the a1 fly platform again. It's in immaculate condition, not a scratch or ding anywhere.
My old black digi a1 fly was great but it was duracoated on(thought it was going to be over a raw body but it was not. It was over the olive/brown color. You can see it underneath like inside Asa, breach door and internally of the body) I just thought was just a basement/garage tacky job. No offense, it wasn't for me BUT what a great job on the outside! Plus, I, myself, been rooting for a breach less Angel for so long and finally there is one!
I just had to have it! Cobra trigger really surprised me! I'm not a fan of the trigger curving inwards. I like the stock a1 fly trigger before, but this, loving it. I plan on doing the whole nine yards of efficiency test in the fall, no way in hell I'm stepping outside in the heat lol. I'm also going to have the barrel back bored out for freak inserts. Good idea? Will it weakened the integrity of the back? Myth?
Downside of this SB, the owner, must've screwed the grip screws too tight and gave spider cracks on the clear plastic. There isn't a replacement, right? I still have my Estonian a1 fly grips but I like the black grip piece that's over the plastic grip.
I'm ecstatic and I can't wait til fall! : D
