Title says it all. Which mag release is best? Does one perform better than the other? Does one feel better than the other?
If you've had experience with one, or both of these mag releases, please cast your vote and comment as to why your choice is made.

I can't comment on the Killjoy, but with the Lapco ones (both right and left) I needed to take some sandpaper to them to widen the channel for the spring. The mag release spring would not fit into the channel on the Lapco releases.

One would stick open as the spring couldn't move freely, the other the spring would just jump off the release.

I made them work, but I wouldn't recommend them to people who don't like to tinker and fine tune things with files/sandpaper.

It could just be that the size of the springs used has changed a few times during production of the Tibs, and Lapco designed them while the springs were thinner.

Thanks for the heads up, I'd never heard of this, and I'll definitely look it up. I can definitely tinker if I have to, but I'd rather avoid it. I DID have to file down my T8 mags to fit my T9.1, so I am not new in the way of tinkering haha

To be honest both are going to be the same in terms of price, quality, and function.

The only real difference is aesthetics. Lapco has a cool scorpion on the mag release, mine are a solid color.

I offer mine in silver or black, Lapco only offers black.

If you are looking for a more unique handcrafted part, Fixxxer is definately the man.

All releases are gonna be about the same as pointed out by Killjoy above. But Fixxxer's have a rounded edge on them that makes them more comfortable IMHO. Personally, after buying a mag release, I dont find it really worth the money. Doesnt make it HUGELY different fdor changing mags. But if you have the money, it does personalize the gun quite a bit. Fixxxer is a great guy (so is Killjoy!) and I support both of them.
