Vista is now, and forever will be, the worst OS I have ever had the displeasure of using. You're on crack Skip.
If anything I'll boot Win 7 since I have a key from my old laptop. Just don't like trying to get my hands on a clean copy now that Demonoid is dead and buried.

I need a prime. All I have right now is my 28-70 2.8L and as much as I love it, I miss having the arsenal of primes I had before I sold all of my Nikon stuff.

I had a 1.4, but I found myself wanting a wide prime when I had a 50. I'd almost say get a 35L or a 24L instead.

Went to OSX just over a year ago, haven't looked back since. I have to use either XP or 7 at my day job and I can't stand it. I'd have gone back to Kubuntu Linux ages ago if Photoshop would run on it.

That's my problem right now. I'm enjoying Ubuntu but I can't run the programs I need to use and running Lightroom & Photoshop in a Virtual Box is slower than slow.
I'm debating trying out OSX on a dummy machine I have to get the hang of it before I decide to make the switch on my main rig. I used it to test Ubuntu so why not give OSX a whirl.

Check out tonymacx86.com, it's about the best resource out there for building an OSX/86 machine. Built my first Snow Leopard system by his recommendations, and it's still going strong and fast on Mountain Lion. The only thing that screws me up is if I try and do a 40+ image panorama stitch on full resolution 5D2 RAW files. :\

Haha, I'm actually the opposite. I use OSX at home and Win7 at work and absolutely love Win7.

win 7 laptop, but sometimes I drive to my office just to use the mac..I love clean, logical GUI's and apple just has it down to a tee.
