No, water would not erode your skin. Maybe make your skin a bit pruny, but it's not going to drill a hole through your forehead.
The entire point of the Chinese water torture is to drive you mad. Being strapped down, and not being able to do anything about the drops hitting your forehead would make you insane after a moderate amount of time. It would be annoying at first, but being able to see every drop coming and not do anything about it... that's torture.
But if you really want to maintain that peoples' foreheads have eroded, feel free to post some evidence. |

That's what I'm thinking. The amount of time it would take for a slow drip to drill a hole through the head would be extremely high. Like, the person would have died WAY before. If it's even possible.

The only way it would drill a hole is if you were dead, and stopped producing heat and skin oils.
But if you're dead, continuing to use psychological torture is pointless.
