Paintball safety and the Media

For some time now I have felt that Television networks and commercials have down played the safety concerns that we face every time we play.

1. They never wear the proper masks.
This makes the viewer think that it may not be needed to Play.
2. They make it appear that it is safe to play in public.
This makes for safety concerns for anyone in public areas
3. This then in turn places paintball in a bad light with the public.
Towns start to ban the sale, and play of paintball in city limits.
They also can then reclassify a paintball marker the same as a gun.

I feel that paintball should have rules for the media just as other organizations do. This would keep them from showing unsafe playing practices.
