AXE relay ASA problem
So today I went to shoot my Axe, and I noticed that that relay lever wasn't working, all I could diagnose was that the pin that goes back and forth in the ASA wasn't moving. Last time I used to was at my field and it worked fine. Except now the relay lever isn't functioning how it should...
should I send it into Empire/ Kee for repair? or is it something I did/ didn't do? Really need help.

I'd say talk to KEE. They might end up sending you one for free or giving you a free repair.

I've had the same problem. Mine wouldn't gas down, but this was the problem right out of the box. Now that I have a few cases through it, the problem doesn't occur that often. If your axe is new, wait a little bit before calling it in. You may want to break it in a lil, and I heard that putting some oil on te pin may help, although I haven't done that myself.

Few drops of oil in the reg usually fix up any problems. Try that...

if you look inside the ASA, as in where you screw in the tank, the brass pin doesn't retract as it would after flipping the lever, its like stuck in the position where when the lever is flipped to gas up the marker.

I have had it for almost a year now, I had the same problem too, but it stopped doing that after I adjusted my psi to about 180 to 190 ish.

where exactly is the reg? is it in the Relay system itself? Or inside the Axe?

I dropped my psi down significantly once I put in the boss bolt which requires a lower psi. Around that time is when my lever issue started to occur less...

its not broke, its just dry, the valve inside the relay isnt sliding so it can degas. just put a couple drops of oil in it and shoot it through it. (just like the guys above have mentioned). this will lubricate it enough to get the valve piece inside to move so it will degas and the pin will move into the depressed position.

Make sure you use paintball oil too, don't be using WD30 or anything!

just got off the phone with KEE/ Empire, and they are sending me another Relay system, I guess I lost a spring that was on the lever of the Relay, like when you take out the screw of the lever, there is supposed to be a spring there, and I don't have it.

after looking at ******'s Empire ASA maintenance video on Youtube, I figured out that its the part he calls the "doorstop" and the one in mine is stuck down, so there isn't any spring tension or anything, its stuck down. I don't know how to fix it, but I'm bringing it by my field's certified Empire Tech guy, and see what he can do about it.
