Left handed help

Howdy nation. I've got a bit of a problem.

I cannot shoot left handed super well. The way I do it is hold the gun in my left hand by the grip frame and hold it to my left shoulder and walk the trigger with my right hand.

This would work just fine if I just continued to play recreationally. Nothing serious just having fun. Except I recently joined a team and being that I am a bigger guy they want me playing back right can. I could probably get by shooting the way I currently do just fine but I would rather learn to shoot left handed properly.

Now the way I taught myself to be able to shoot semi auto to start (for right handed shooting) isn't working on my left hand like it did my right hand. The way I did it was to pick a song with a steady beat to it and get to the point were I could easily keep the beat by tapping my fingers. Then I would pick a faster song and do it again then faster and faster and faster.
For my left hand. It just isn't working.

Suggestions???

Play with your left hand for a month and your body will get used to it. Just play play play. Snap shoot at home

Practice signing your name with your left hand.
Trust me, if you can sign your name with both hands then a trigger is easy.

My problem was learning to use the other eye.

to train my left hand, i literally just picked up my gun and shot at myself in the mirror with my left hand. Do it every time you're not doing anything else. Even while you're watching tv. This also works perfectly well for switching hands if you have a problem doing that.

Get drunk! Play with your gun (without balls) in your left hand every day. When you step onto the field only play left hand spots. You will suck, but after awhile your body will get used to it.

repetition, repetition, repetition. It's all about getting your left hand comfortable to doing more work than you would usually have it to do. Also it helps to get you mentally off the idea that you're not left handed.

Just as everyone has said, just use that hand and that hand only. You'll get the hang of it. Easiest time to try all that is also in rec ball, nothing serious and you can still shoot peoples!

These guys tell the truth. It's about muscle memory. Use a mirror and hold the trigger frame with trigger in your left hand and use your right hand to hold under the barrel or at the reg. Keep doing that. everyday. eventually it will get easier. -until you don't even have to think about it.
I am left handed, and shooting right handed sucks for me, but I can do it because of practice. The harder part is shooting, keeping the gun up and reloading a pod at the same time -at least for me. Good Luck!

How I overcame it was I shot left handed only positions for about a month straight and even in a tourney,
The problem with that is I sucked *** at right handed after that, I was snapping waaaayyy too far out on the right haha
