I was on the fence between a GT and Geo3 until I saw a Geo 3 release date so soon, then it was a no brainer. The Geo is such a quality marker.

Not yet. But, I picked up another Ego 11 today at PSP Chicago instead of a Geo 2.1. They had a few Geo 3's on hand but sold out I think on Friday.

i have a geo3 got it at chicago have about 2-3 cases on it and I'm not to convinced its much better than the 2.1..... its smooth and gets better efficiency but my clone gt is still my favorite.... once i get about 8-10 more cases through it tune it and get the soft face bolt in i will let you guys know what i think...

Feel and efficiency were the biggest complaints about the Geo 2. So if its smoother and gets better efficiency then how is it not much better? Help me understand what you mean

My thoughts are the GT seems like a great marker with efficiency and feel. However that being said the reliability of the Geo line has been proven many times over, the only thing players asked for is increased efficiency, smoothness and quieter. If the Geo3 has indeed done this, combined with reputation it is a winner.

He said it was smooth not "smoother". So if he is saying it only gets better efficiency then the 2.1 and notices nothing else different, then I see where he is coming from.

Thats why I am asking if he can clarify. If he is saying it feels the same as the Geo 2/2.1 or feels smoother than one?

The geo3 is substantially smoother than the geo2, with the adjustable bolt speed and whatnot. The sound signature is similar to the luxe honestly.
