New to the family
Just bought my first poppit yesterday...should be here by Friday. Not new, but couldn't pass on the price. Coming with tester, techt bolt and ram, lo profile pin & 4c eyes, along with stock parts except pin. All my experience is with spools and blowbacks...anything I should be on the lookout for?

buy some DOW33 and triflow oil for mantience.
Expect to be blown away; not quite as smooth as a spool, but fantastic in a much different way

Order some Dow55. Go to boblongdirect.com and download the manual. Read it at least 3x. That should get you started.  |

Thanks for all the heads up...will pick up the lube and oil this week..gun hopefully will show tomorrow. I've had my eye on the G6r for quite a while...just needed to find the right deal.

Any good source to get dow55 and tri-flow at the same place? My local pb shop doesn't carry either

ok...last question...I've been searching the forums, and half say dow 33 and any gun oil are fine, the other half say only use dow 55 and tri-flow in the G6r. What's the final verdict? I just want to protect my investment.

thanks all...found both at macrolineguy.com for a decent price. Astounding the number of lubricant retail stores that had no idea what dow 55 was. Called 6 places locally, and got the same response...."Dow 55..who makes that? What's Tri-flow?"

If you are looking locally, ask for "molykote 55". It's the same thing. You can find Triflow at bike shops usually. |
