If I build another rig I will probably be using that, or a similar case.

Thanks guys

Hey guys!
Im getting really into audio recording for my music
as well as video editing for my fps gaming and airsoft/paintball
filming. For video I use a GoPro HD Hero 2 on its best settings,
an Elgato Gaming HD capture card, and the latest Sony Vegas.
For audio purposes i use a Blue Yeti Pro usb mic and Audacity.
I'll probably use FruityLoops studio as well.
I also suck harsh with computers.
So I was wondering if anyone had the time if they could create a
build for me to do all of the above for under $1200 on this website:
http://pc.ncix.com/pcbuilder/
Keep in mind i have UP TO $1200 and dont want to necessarily spend that much.
Thanks in advance!

They are going to ask, do you need peripherals (keyboard, mouse, speakers, screen)?

This is insane!! I haven't logged on in over a year, and I come back to this! Already been two full threads made it to 2000, and this is the third!
I actually just did a new build, in that same case, with a custom closed-loop water cooling setup. Its a pretty rad case with an awesome cable management system. Very much recommended.
Side note, getting back into the game. Drone DX, Reflex Rail, or Etek 4?
Thanks to everyone that kept this thread active!

That's good. You've got a solid budget there. From personal experience, I can recommend the MSI Z77a-G45 lightning mobo if you go Intel. It's what I use and I love it. OC is easy and the board was $100 after MIR.

With a $1200 budget, there is no reason that he should not go with intel.

Very true, but he may be partial to AMD. I was just throwing it out there.

Anybody that builds a $1200 AMD system has mental inadequacies.

What if the condition was pre-existing?
With the extra money, why not upgrade that setup to a bluray burner? Also, what about cheaper Z77 mobo alternatives? If he went with the MSI board or an Asrock Extreme4 he could free up some more money and still get good parts.
