^^ so your field limit is 195-300? 1: That doesn't make sense. 2: If you;re constantly having to switch FPS, you're going to have a lot of tuning headaches.
Everyone who is having consistency problems with the Eigenbolt should try raising your dwell and switching out the bolt guide o-ring closest to the spacer with the 012 o-ring supplied with the Eigenbolt kit. My spacer has a slight wobble, but I still get +/-5fps with my hybrid.

I finally went up to an additional 012 on the front and that seemed to fix a lot of my problems (only had one in the back before).

I cant say I had the best luck with the Lurker or Blurker bolts. First I found that the Lurker bolt it self broke paint in the breech of the gun after being installed correctly and running a couple cases of paint through it and had some kick to it compared to some other AXEs I had previously used (Boss bolt equipped). I then tried the Blurker set up that Tea showed off in the Blurker thread. This causes some stuttering issues and I still had some breaks.
I think the thing that broke the camels back for me was I opened up a BNIB AXE for a teammate and dropped in a Infamous bolt w/shortest spring, lowered the dwell to 3, ran the pressure at 120 and turned the back cap 1 and 1/4 turns out and it shot more consistant and smoother than my axe.
Best of luck to the guys that were able to get this to work and love yours. I will be going with a different option.

Does the ball even break on anything less than solid steel?

OK, so if you want 285-290, do what I already described.

After not able getting my hybrid to work last week. Finally worked today. Love the no kick!!!! (Hope its not just because im dry firing =p)
I think i was having problems last week either because of the weather being so humid, poppet or lube. Or all 3. Not sire just know that the gun fires nice, sounds better than it did last week and it cycling properly

You will get more kick when actually firing paint. But it's still soft!

i just added a 012 to the outmost guide oring, so now it's 012's sandwiching a stock oring. this got rid of a lot of play in the bolt system. just gotta break it in now. have to break in the spring as well.

Would adding another oring around the bolt guide at the base cushion the stock bolt at all? That would be cheap and sounds like it would, to some extent, do the same thing.

No. When you add the o-ring to the bottom, the bolt can't retract enough out of the breach. It's bound to start chopping paint like crazy because this will throw off the timing of the shot, not to mention you're changing the tolerance of the bolt to the body. The Axe bolt sits right at the border of the breach when in the idle position.

lol pretty much.
well when i had the 012 just on the inner position, it was pretty tight before it broke in. now that it's broken in, the bolt has no resistance again so I added an 012 to the front to break in.
this is all i am doing oring wise

This is a great idea. I've fallen in love with my lurker setup, but I'll
definitely give this a shot and post my Blurker/Eigenboss/Lurkoss results.

I ended up using about 10.5 pods
the bolt reduces how fast the bolt initially move forward and really seems to smooth out the marker.
the axe was on 10bps ramping
