Started on time, ran on time.
Refs: great job! I saw you running out there and chasing some people down. Thanks for enforcing the rules!
The playing field seemed pretty level for the most part. Some of the strongest beginner teams seemed pretty strong for the division.
Only thing i didn't like was the semi. Good job enforcing the Rate of fire but i'm sure there were bouncing guns out there. Might as well PSP ramp to 10BPS and 12 BPS.
Other than that all the players were good sports, great event!
Thanks for the great event! First time participating in a tourney and placed 3rd in the beginners bracket. As for the ramping, I know that my teammate's g6r was on semi put he was shooting it like it was ramping so I think it was just certain guns that seemed like it was ramping, a ref even pulled his gun to make sure.
The reffing needs to be a little better though because 2 refs came out to pull a player each on a 1-for-1 penalty which ended 2 games prematurely. There needs to be better communication on who's going to do the pulling of the players off the field or some signaling so 2 players aren't pulled off for 1 penalty. Other than that the reffing was good.
What? When a minor penalty 1 for1 gets called 2 players get pulled. The offending player and 1 more. That usually equals 2.
The officiating was outstanding. After watching 20 plus tournaments, I really haven't seen any better for this style of play. Great job to the Elite Staff for a very well run event. It's hard to be perfect standing in the heat watching cases of paint fly by. Ive found the ones that take issue with paintball officiating have never done it themselves .
First off I would like to thank all teams who participated in the ESS wichita event at the Edge Paintball Adventures!!! It was a successful event with 21 teams and Im looking forward to Choctaw being even better of an event.
First off: After listening to you the customers and reviews about the events the following will be permanant changes to the series for the remainder 2012 season.
1) There will be no long semi-auto in the series. You the players would like to use ramping for a level playing field. So for all divisions it will be 12.5 BPS PSP RAMPING...
2) Something that was my fault and it slipped my mind is that we will enforce the banned color yellow more and keep track of the issue more. Again my fault for it slipping.
3) With each event we hope to improve every ones experience to make it more enjoyable and a level playing field across the board.
I will also be the first to apologize for any incoviences or problems that occurred. I will work hard to bring you better events and fix any problems you the customers had in the first event. Thank you again for supporting the series and hope to see continued support for the rest of the series.
