Why boxing is dying:

Everyone except the people running the organization have a clue.

Pretty much. Most of these promoters probably figure they can make more money with a rematch, but this isnt the fight anyone wants to see. People want Mayweather/PacMan. We should be on the third installment of this fight by now. If the Mayweather/PacMan fight doesnt happen within the next 8-12 months, hopefully they wont be inducted in the boxing HOF because they're the last thing that could potentially lift boxing back into the spot light. They need to be punished for this, and people tuning the sport out isnt enough for them, so they need to find a new creative way to let them know they're not bigger then the sport.

It'd still be awesome if it happened in the next year or so, but I'd be amazed if it ever actually happened. When was the last time boxing delivered fans the fight they wanted to see?

this fight was the nail in the coffin for that match happening any time soon. may is in jail, pacman has to do the rematch first (and maybe another 4th marquez fight...oh how fun!) and boxing just lost whatever shred of credibility it had left. that fight is so far past its optimal window too, now it is just an annoying side show. tbh i have lttle to no interest in watching any more fights because of **** like this, unless pavlik decides to get his head out of his *** and make a comeback.

it really, really sucks that the promoters and **** destroyed that sport. i find it infinitely more interesting then the mma cock rubbing fest in the UFC.

The athletic commission will not investigate the judges. Im sensing some heavy duty corruption going on.

No ****ing **** sherlock. Boxing has been declining hardcore and this is their attempt to pull some pro-wrestling stunt to get people interested.

it is pretty much a complete waste of time. the fight was closer than the announcers would make it seem but it was not close enough to think bradley actually won. i think it was a case of incompetence over a fix (although i would not be surprised at all if it was fixed).

i mean, if it was a fix it would be too obvious in this case, hence why i think it was good old fashioned derping from the judges.

no but the pro boxing industry is full of pro boxing judges and its almost unanimous decision pacman got screwed.

the thing is bradley won maybe four round if you are generous. so the one who scored 7-5 for pacman was already a little derped, but not a huge stretch of the imagination. the other two must have flipped their scorecards upside down after the fight or something if you want to claim incompetence.
