He used his own keys for the lock boxes, bank doesn't know which ones to give the DEA. They would have to try and open them all with his keys.

i think in lock box cases you need a warrant to open a specific box so unless he had that box out his grand daughter they can't go willy nilly and try the key on everything (i think).
besides, i doubt he even had the key with him as it was a 1 time deposit that was going to sit there.
even so, i believe i heard someone say in the episode that mike lost his pay to the DEA twice so they have some portion of that money. really hard to say if any of it is safe.

Walt makes a drastic decision in next episode according to description on amctv. Perhaps he will stage suicide by Skyler thru means of overdose or pool drowning to tie up the wife part of his life. I think a lot of Skyler haters would be cheering after that event...hah. One thing's for sure Jesse calling Todd a ***** is inevitable at this point and sure to happen.

Slight spoiler warning for those who haven't seen last week's episode
Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
| I was thinking Jesse could try doing something to Walt, because of Jesse saying "You don't want to pay me? Fine, it's on you." And then if he somehow finds out about what Walt did to Mike he'll probably be even more pissed. |

walt went from being a likable character to being the second worst character on the show. I really think the writing(as far as the character development goes) has taken a turn for the worst since season 3. pretty much every character has become one dimensional and uninteresting.

Yea I do kind of agree now that I think about it (especially with Walt). Todd seems like he could be an interesting character

I'm actually quickly losing interest in the show. none of the characters are compelling anymore except maybe jesse. But, judging on how the past two seasons have gone, I'm not overly optimistic about jesse either.
