I have 2 lv1's and they are both ripping through detents

I followed the tuning guide on both lv1's and I am needing to replace detents after every other practice. What could be wrong? I put some lube on the detents thinking they could be a little old/dry and that did not solve the issue. are there any better aftermarket detents out?

Are all the detents from the same package? Might have been a bad batch. I had the same problem for a while, but I got a new bag of detents and had no more issues

Well I used all detents from both parts kit and then I purchased another 10 from a reputable shop and those still have issues.

Try azodin detents. Had the same issues with my etha, geo 3.0 and ego11. Bought original PE detents bvut still had the same issues. With azodin detents, no problem.

This is odd. I literally still have my stock Detents and they are in good shape, we are 20+cases in and going strong. Something must be off, bolt tip not affixed correctly or an oversized bolt oring jamming the detent? Just guesses

Bolt tip is fine, but I did buy both of these markers used. I never thought to look at the bolt orings. I don't have the marker in front of me right now, but do the orings even contact the detents? Regardless, I will take a look at get back. Thanks!

I don't know if the bolt contacts it off hand but something is not right there, if you do get it solved please let us know as I am curious. Maybe have no barrel on and look through the breech as you manually cycle the bolt to see if it is contacting weirdly, or if the breech is sharp/scratched and causing contact to slice them. Not sure what to think really but hope it gets figured out

The orings on either side of the air transfer port do not make contact with the ball detents.

I often see this when the eye covers are over tightened. They are supposed to flex with each cycle of the gun; giving the detents space to move out of the way as the bolt enters and clears the breech.
