How to remove this part?

I just purchased a Geo 2 and it came with this weird chip thing just dangling around inside the grip frame. I did some research and i'm guessing its either a virtue rf transmitter to a hopper, or the nppl chip to control rof. Since neither applies to me, how do I go about removing it?

Pics:

It connects to the top left port in the picture, but there is also 2 more wires coming out of that port which lead into the gun to solenoid/eye area.

Take the plug out of the board with the wires to the virtue chip...and then unplug the two black wires from the virtue chip and plug them back into the board.

Ok thanks, can you verify whether its the rf hopper chip or the nppl chip?

Virtue also made the nppl chips to send the info on specific guns. I dont play nppl so I can't say as to which it is but it could be either.

I am 99% sure it's a transmitter because it says transmitter on it and looks exactly like my broken part. But I suppose it is possible the nppl chips are the same size/ shape as the RF transmitters. Still I'm confident enough to buy it from OP if he will let me.

Guys it's an RF transmitter. I bought it and use it. I know. If you think it's an NPPL chip your wrong pure and simple.

No it is an nppl chip which is why it has the chip ID number on it.
