Geo 3.5 question

Would PE ever do a revision of the back cap? Different milling for easier gripping? It's hard to grab sometimes and pull up. My fingers just slip all the time... And it's a pita when your hands are slightly greasy at all. A different milled back cap for them would be all it needs. Just something with more in grooved into it for your fingers to grab...

Really you sure your marker is not aired up. mine is very easy to push up when not gassed uped. Sounds like there is air still on the system even if the pops is disengaged.

I have the same issue. I went to walmart and in the housewares section they sell flat rubber (grip sheets) for using to open jars around the house. There flat so it fits in the gun case perfectly and comes in handy when the gun and/or your hands are greesy or slippery

GSL is easy to pull up due to the milling. And no it is easy to pull up. What I'm saying is when your hands are greasy your fingers slip when trying to pull it up.

Same bolt setup just the 3.5 comes with an iv core stock as older ones do not. Other than the iv core they are the same

Does anyone know if a GSL and 3.5 back cap are interchangeable? Will they both fit the other body properly?

I don't have one to try but i dont see why not. Although I don't think any gsl owner would part their back cap

Pretty sure he means the soft tip bolt and hard tip bolt.

The soft tip is better on ultra fragile paint, although 99% of the paint you put through the marker should shoot with the hard tip bolt. Basically, only switch to the soft tip bolt if you're certain you're having chops due to the hard tip bolt.

OP: have you tried pushing it up with your thumb, like when you pop a top off a can? That's what I do instead of trying to grip it with my fingers, which is harder for me as well.

When I do that my thumb kinda flicks off and I nearly drop the marker. Lol I must be dumb ? Idk.

I was more looking for the answer of "practice on your girlfriend" for the finger excercises but that works too... But I like my idea better

If your hands are greasy when you're removing the bolt engine, what are you doing exactly? Should be in a clean area if maintaining the bolt system.

What if it's after a game and you broke a ball during that game but your fingers are covered in paint from being shot in the fingers, but you need to remove the bolt to clean off excessive paint around the bolt to keep it clean?

Since you're already removing the hopper and probably the barrel and degassing the marker, you're not coming back onto the field in under 2 minutes doing this. What's the hurry?

Or just put some 3M step tape or skateboard tape on the back of the cap for additional wet surface friction.

Usually if I have a mess in the breach, it's not going to be solved at the field between points. Otherwise the majority of it will have shot clean from the breach on its own outside of gunk in the eyes.

Pop bolt pull it out, wipe off the front of it, squeegee the breach, pop it in, go play. Don't worry about the loader unless a ball broke inside it itself and the barrel takes 2 seconds. And it takes one second to degas and gas it up.

O-ring on the bolt acts as a natural squeegee. I'm assuming you're turning off your loader, flipping the marker upside down, and doing all of this upside down? I'd just dry fire it a few times at that point with out the barrel on it.
