Lots of pros not using the cs1?

I watched the millennium event and saw a bunch of players not using cs1s. Most were shooting the 3.5. Are they having issues with the cs1? I have about 50,000 shots on my cs1 and haven't had a issues except for I had to adjust my spire.

It's all about preference, some like the CS1, some like the Geo3, some like the LV1 and some gun whores (4leaf?) have one of each. It's nice to be able to offer a choice.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, however, there is.

Ha! Poor Nick. Preference-wise, he was an LV1 guy until the CS1, if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe impact might be waiting on custom guns or they just want something they know will not act up mid game. I recently noticed this that most of the teams playing for GI were using the z2's except for impact and maybe a few i didn't notice. I did notice bains in vegas had a cs1 out but maybe others want something that is tried and true in their hands.

I can't imagine it's a reflection of the CS1 performance.

Just keep in mind that the 3.5 is a great marker as well and some may just like the feel of that better.

I agree. Like me, I owned a cs1 and thought it shot great. But I like the weight and feel of the 3.5 better, so I picked up a gsl and got rid of the cs1. The cs1 is a great marker, but it all comes down to preference.

Somewhat off-topic here, but I play for a GI Imperial team and they are, in-fact requiring us to use Z2s. Marker wise, I shoot a 3.5 and prefer it over the CS1, and I came from the LV1 - it's really all personal preference.

Interesting on the Z2. I'd go back to them in a heartbeat if they made the disassembly and reassembly more reliable. I had jams caused by slight mistakes I made in reassembly.

i actually miss my 3.1 over my cs1. However, the advancements of the cs1 are just so nice i wont go back. Being able to take out the bolt and eye covers and replace batteries with no tools is so awesome.

The only con against the CS1 is someone might want to steal it.

I was whoring around with a bunch of different guns until I got the CS1. I'm 100% satisfied.

3.5 is a great too but I like the stretch of the cs1. All personal preference I guess, but to me the CS1 is a cut above them all.

What about using an older gun, so that TSA or whomever on the other side of the pond doesn't take your new work horse? If I was luckily enough to own more than one high end marker, I'd probably take the year old one just incase.

I think that's exactly it. Most sponsored teams had at least one or two
CS1s on the last Millennium. The gun-whore in me paying attention as
always lol. Even at Vegas that seemed to be the case. 187 and X-Factor
for sure had quite a few, except for players like Colt Roberts that's still
shooting his personal 3.5. I'm absolutely sure it has nothing to do with
performance of the CS1s, or even that it's less reliable than other Geos,
given the fact that it's just as reliable, in my mind.

I've heard this from others. I used my Z2 for a scenario and it was jamming nonstop. Hope they get it righted as I used to love it, but it needs some work to stay up with the other hoppers out there.

Impact was mainly shooting 3.5s again this event from what I saw. Other teams were playing with more cs1s.

i am also GI imperial team, Yes they all have to use Z2s now.

Lots of people just prefer the feel of the 3.5 over the cs1.

I will admit, it took some getting used to. Im 5'8 140 lbs, with big hands for my size, and the cs1 grips FEEL HUGE TO ME.

However, after enough time playing with it, I do like it
