Marker Blue Book

Hey guys I've heard rumors around some other forums about a sort of blue book value for paintball markers much like kelly blue book for cars. I heard a couple of guys were developing it and i thought it was a really cool idea. Has anyone else heard about something of this sort??

Even if someone took the effort to make such a website or spreadsheet, resale on gear is so demand driven, that it would be hard to keep up with.

Something is worth what someone is willing to pay

One or two people deciding resale value? That wont be extremely biased.

The same can be said about the automotive markets, real estate, comic books and baseball cards.

Which is exactly why the only people who go by KBB values are the insurance companies.

Paintball is a buyer's market, and people will constantly be driving the price down on all guns.

The best price is the one where buyer and seller agree to make a sale.
I'd say there are far too many variables that can effect both price and desirability. (model, milling, modifications, color, additional items)

And there's always a guy who needs to move something fast and therefore is selling at a really low (relative) price. The flip side is the guy who has no need to sell and wants to get every cent out of the mods done (think of a used marker with a couple mods priced OVER retail)

PLEASE STOP USING DUBSTEP IN ANY AND ALL PAINTBALL VIDEOS CAUSE REALLY ITS JUST HARD TO WATCH WITH THAT UNINTELLIGIBLE GARBAGE PLAYING.

On average NPPL and semi players can satisfy their girlfriends and wives much better than PSP and ramping players :)
