I would recommend ether a used Rotor or Halo ... other than that, the TM Series Rip clip also works well and they can be found used for a good price.

If you don't mind a hopper hanging over the top and you're on a budget then the Halo hoppers are definitely the best for the money. Next step up would be a Prophecy, after that either the Prophecy Z2 or the Rotor but even used that's a lot more expensive.
RipClip is the best option to clear the sight rail for optics and even new the price is pretty good.

thats good to know. the only concern i have is will a halo be more hopper than i have gun for, but at the same time i worry that i wont be able to transfer my rip clip to another gun if for some weird reason i get the bug and switch.
for a n00b what would be the best matched hopper to the tm7?

I have a rip clip and it is the best one for tm7 because it is low profile and light. However, the rip clip design is not that robust with the internal spring and all. I have a rotor for all my other guns since it is the best and most durable IMO.

well i believe that after seven months you must have bought a loader, but as far as you havent post it IMO the rotor has no match. everything else is just a waste of money

i couldnt justify paying as much for my loader as my gun, i dont really go out and play enough to put 100+ into a rotor.
i ended up trading a phone i had for 2 chipped vlocitys with speed feeds, a grillz and a profiler mask
will say the vlocity kept up sufficiently on semi auto, didnt go burst or full this play...
HOWEVER, the vlocity feedneck and any other neck of approximately that size requires that the tm7 feed elbow be dremeled out. otherwise the fit is much too tight
