after you guys are finished with a bench or rack, do you completely strip the bar and rerack all the plates?

today i left 2 plates on the bar in the rack after i finished with squats. then 45mins later some fatass weight-lifter tracked me down in the gym and told me i needed to rerack all the weights after i was done.

I'm not lying to myself. I can deadlift well over 400 pounds and bench 250 for about 5 reps. It's most likely a mental barrier in combination with bad form. I consider this middle of the road. Granted, I'm using other people at my gym as a form of comparison. Maybe everyone in my gym is just weak? Maybe my standards are low? Whatever. It doesn't matter what I consider myself. I feel as if I need to "break through" and lock down on pullups/chinups in order to make progress. In the end, progress is the only thing that matters.

Up to 90lbs I just hook the caribiner through both rings, so not a problem for me

after that the chain is too short to reach both

One plate is general acceptable it seems.

Though last week some guy left a plate and a quarter on the hack squat machine, so I pulled it off and dropped them on the floor one by one from about 3ft so the guy could hear them slam on the floor from across the gym. He reracked his weights this morning, lol.

i think its acceptable to leave a plate on a machine but leaving it on a bar just makes people think someones still using it

B3 day of DC. Today it was:

Wide-Grip Cable Curls
Reverse Preacher Curls
Sitting Calf Press
Seated Leg Curl
Leg Press


Someone had kindly given me one of those original videos for DC training that had Jason Wojciechowski going through workouts and possible exercises, and that's where I got the Wide-Grip cable curls for DC from. Felt good today, but I was scoping the exercise out a bit - will be bumping weight likely 10-20lbs for my next B3.

I've read that working on the negative part of the pullup can help your lats get used to the motion of it. Even if you have to jump to get yourself up, just letting yourself down real slow will help you get to do more pullups faster (rather than doing assisted).

Also, do a lot of you guys lift with a gym buddy or do you work out alone? I prefer to have someone there with me but I think I perform better when I go by myself.

I warm up starting with the empty bar for squats and OHP. 135 for deadlifts. 65 for bench(to help stabilize).
