The event was good!! I thought reffing was good. We started pretty close to original start time, when you consider the previous events. BB did a great job. Thnak you BB, Refs, Aftershock, Badlandz, and all those that showed up to play. It was a good day for some paintball!!!

I saw many players being pulled when they were not hit. It happens but cleaning the player side of the bunker would make their job on the field easier.
My only other suggestion would be to keep 1 on the field coach. We went from playing all day on field 1 where I was able to coach my players very effectively(from both sides) to a finals game on the second field, which I could only go half way down and had to deal with unsportsmanlike counter coaching. Both fields reguardless of the netting should have the same coaching rules. IMO, keeping it to a single person, on the field would eliminate any counter coaching.
Overall, a very well ran event and props to all involved in making it happen!

There is no sideline coaching in the MWXL. The only reason it was allowed was as i said, due to the way the field was set up. The Badlandz will be taking steps to fix this.
Now with that said... I ****ING HATE COUNTER COACHING!!!!!! In fact! I think I am going to have signs made which state "NO COUNTER COACHING ALLOWED!!!! VIOLATORS TEAM MATCH WILL BE FORFIETED!!!!" No joke, they will be posted on the snake side at EVERY MWXL moving forward! If your team needs to counter coach, you don't need to be playing, at least in the MWXL!

it was cool to see a local tournament with such great competition! when most of the teams go 2-2 in prelims it makes me have some hope for this league. With that being said, i had a fun time for my first mwxl and ill hopefully be back for the next.
only complaints were how long it took(like everyone else has pointed out), and the sketchy pit area

QFT^ Too many times I heard people counter coaching at the event. This is a local league we're all from the MW, let's have some fun.

It has its positives and negatives, but seeing this is a Midwest XBALL league, its most likely going to stay. A designated coaching area may want to be implimented so its even for both fields, reguardless of the netting.

The netting issue will be resolved before we ever allow on field sideline coaching As I stated, this was a special sitiuation. Oh, and yes, I too feel sideline coaching is Gay! D5 or beginner maybe, but not D4 and up. Sorry, not attacking JMO

I respectfully disagree. Although this is coming from a person who just graduated with a coaching degree

Not attacking either but the closer to psp rules, the better for the league and the players playing. The less picking and choosing of rules, the better. But that's just me.
Counter coaching I suppose falls under this too. All be it, it is a ****ty thing to do and can make you enemies it's legal...

HUGE improvement over event #2... i enjoyed the entire day and the staff was great! props to BB, Shock, Bruno and everyone else who made it happen.
two things I would like to see change:
1. time - not sure what we can do about this, but I'd like to leave the field earlier than 6-7pm
2. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but, both fields were slightly off. I would love to see a more consistent grid on each field... at each event this year, both fields have been off... makes things very difficult for the teams that play field 1 allll day and then switch to field 2 for one match....
other than that, it was great...
