I want to thank the Paintball Central Company for allowing us to host what was a great game, also thanks to my fellow teammates who wrote, directed & controlled the game. We had some small minor problems, but as new managers and game hosts it was expected. We will learn and get better each time and bring fun scenarios to this area.
I want to thank all the players who battled the heat and each other at this event, it is not always easy to play under certain weather conditions, but many did and we had no incidents thankfully. From what I saw the battle was very evenly fought, pushes from each side and lots of fair honorable play.
The team of Cerberus came out on top, Billy "Whistler" Voges led his groups on many successful missions and in the end controlled the final battle pulling out what was a narrow lead into a commanding victory. I want to thank team 5x5 for stepping up to lead the Cerberus coming from Atlanta to do so, you guys are models for the scenario world with your style of playing hard with honor. I will see you again soon for sure.
The Alliance battled hard all day, they started out behind in points off the bat but came back strong mid day and kept even right up near the end of play, one mission was the difference as they could have won the battle for earth if the final battle went their way. General Chadwick "Hoot" Moore led his groups greatly, they fought hard and with the assistance of my friends from the Paintball Central Greensboro & Greenville teams were a very tough team to face, I thank them and all of those who joined forces to play for the Alliance, you guys did a great job.
We used a faction called the Reapers, it created some confusion as both teams did not know if we would battle them, I tried to make it an even up team. We would assist the team pinned down and only battle once we were fired upon which made for some great confusing moments. I hope all the players understood and had fun with it as we did.
We here at Paintball Central will be doing more such games, I hope those that attended for this game and other past games will come back and play this amazing field. We have many plans for the future and each event will be bigger and better.
Thank you all and I will see you again soon!
