If you're even considering a Nexus cocker, get it. Hands down. Period. Done.

The Nexus is a ****load lighter than the ND (which is simply an Orracle). The parts on the Nexus are much higher quality than the ones on the ND cocker. Eclipse makes the best cocker products on the market, and if you can actually afford (and find one), then buy it.

Personally I would go w/ the Nexus due to the fact that it seems like the only cocker that holds any kind of resale value on the market.

hehe IMO eclipse makes the best EVERYTHING on the market. I wish I could afford a nexus, but my eclipse factory cocker is plenty good. I would get that over an ND orracle if you think the nexus is too expensive...

Well guys,

I switched over to the cocker side just this week from Dye Matrix and Dragon Intimidator (WAS). I was researching alot (including your opinions on PBnation)before buying a Naughty Dog Worr class Orracle. I have gotten it for 1175 shipped via PAYPAL. If you subtract the shipping cost ($15) and Paypal fee ($35), my marker actually cost $1125 . This is what I am getting :

Worr Bladed Orracle, Naughty Dogs edition
Grip Feed Neck
Kaner Barrels Kit (matching)
Beaver tail
Stainless steel rods (standard on E-orracle ?? not sure)
Evlution 2 or Halo B (I chose egg, already own Halo)

Now if you compare that whole setup with a regular E-orracle, there is very little differences in prices. "Dogs" did not have any problem with them, and they delivered hail storms with these markers. And also, don't forget that Orr has been making Cockers as long as we know!

Nexus is a nice (beautiful) gun, but spending the extra cash on this gun IMO will get you shot out more. The reasons are:
1) You will make no crazy moves or dives===> scratched gun(OUCH)
2) You will spend more time showing off than playing
3) Everybody on the opposite team will be after you

So, go with the Dogs Orracle, that way you can show off and afford to scratch it at the same time unless you just hit the lottery.

Go with a nexus cocker they are sweet. Plus I heard that naughty dogs is gonna go with empire, but wgp just made them there own marker.

Also the price differance is alot. 1700+ for the nexus, and like 1200 for the ND. . .thats 500 and not chump change my friend. I dont know where you all got 1500 for the ND but on here some guy said he got one for under 1200

Umm $1500 is the price right off of WGP's website, just like the $1700 price on the Nexus (well it's not off the webiste as it's in pounds not dollars, but we all know what the price is already) It's called msrp you dweeb. Sure I can get a Nexus for alot less if I had the cash lying around. You can't compare msrp of one and not the other.

Sure you can. . tell me where i can get a nexus for 1300 and ill get it. . havnet found one. The ND cocker is hella cheaper but hella not as nice . The nexus' almost always go for close to msrp even used, the orracles wont go for anywhere near msrp. . . so basically he compaired the going prices of them.

Best solution is to go pick one up and see if you like the feel
I, and apparently most of the UK cocker owners, do not like the angled reg so the Orr-acle is out immediately.
The ND is modified Orr-acle, whereas the Nexus is a modified Auto-cocker. The majority of the latest Nexus is new, in fact I think that only the 2 regs, the sear and the e-blade have remained untouched, everything else (including the body) is either a redesign or a mod.

The choice is yours, so see what suits you when it's in your hands and then buy it, when money is not a factor then it's down to looks and feel.

just wanted to note one thing you may have already thought about. the guy that said he get the nexus for 1200 might have been talking about the Eclipse Pro Series Eclipseblade Cocker, instead or the guy who said 1500 might have been talking about the Eclipseblade Cocker Factory Team Edition, and they had just gotten them confused. becouse the nexus is £1062.97 x 1.6 = $1700.75

They are like cars man, I won't go drive around in the mud with my mom Lexus RX 330, but i would with a Toyota 4 runner. It's the same idea, buy what you can afford for what you need.

nexus, and if you cannot afford the nexus, look at the other 2 eclipse models, both very nice, worth every penny
