Uh the exact term means pure ownage its from counter strike on the pc it actually makes no sense as a verb but thats not the point.

Well, step by step lets go over this
Pwned derivies from the word Owned or to own. If you think about it, this common phrase is just a metaphor about a someone whiping his black slaves. So someone saying, I owned you, would mean that he was the slave-owner, and just whipped you, his negro slave. A very complex on my levels diss or insult.
As far as Pwn is concerned, Pure ownage, Player Ownage are common examples of what it is BELIEVED to mean. In other words no one really has any idea about where the p came from...
My guess... someone miss typed OWN with PWN (the o and p are very close on a standard keyboard) and it just caught on... and for the record, only the L33T USE PWN!!! n00b3r2 use OWN.

It derived from the term "pistol owned" in CS, somebody shortened it to "pwned", and then the n00bz started using it without knowing what it meant. AND thanks to them, now everyone just thinks that its a gay way of saying "owned".

The word pwn is derived from leet speek,the i dont have a clue w\here leet orignally came from except for the phact that it is notorious throughout boxor gaming history, the p part im pretty sure is because it emphisizes the word ownt with a little more oumph. BTW,leet speek PWNS YOU ALL.
I think that i got all that right but im not sure because DiviNe messed up on some oh his lettering.

No, actually pwned came from WCII. A map had a mistake and when someone killed someone else, instead of owned, "pwned" came up. It started as a typo in a really old game.
