Blargh I'm a film noob haha; not really sure what I was going for with that shot, it's all stuff from spring break 2011, just snaps really. Luke Johnson sold me an Elan right before I went on the trip so I decided to make use of it....and just now got the rolls developed.

I'm from Columbus, Ohio. The pic was taken at Hoover Damn at Westerville where I live.
Also, I just read someone post saying jpeg is easier to work with. What's the main difference b/t working with raw and jpeg?
Scioto Mile bridge in columbus.

Goddamn Astronauts
I think Tim meant that working with .jpgs from the D700 is easier than from the 5DMKII(??)
RAW files are unprocessed and uncompressed by the camera, they offer a lot more data that lets you push the images much farther in post and get better IQ from the get go.

Went out scouting for a location. I'm going to try to shoot this exact same photo again, but with lighting, to see if there is a drastic quality difference. Luckily the sky provided some nice soft lighting.

Sweet shots Austin, looks like a cool opportunity there and you captured it pretty well
Griz that second shot, in the woods, needs a person in there, could have been fantastic!
Fain, nice doggy
